adding climate control

I found a dash piece out of a lariat and I was wondering if it will just hookup to my xlt dash? Everything is electronic on these new dashes whether you have manual or auto climate control. Anyone know if it will work? The only thing i am wondering is if there are temp sensors in the cab that I wouldn't have on mine.

Not sure. I know on the older trucks it requires the entire climate control system to be swapped.

Thats what i thought to dave, but being that its all push button style now i wasn't 100% sure.

I too would like to add climate control, but it looks like it has the heated seat option. Am I correct? Is there another control unit? I have the base XLT abd would really like the dual zone so the wife will keep quiet : )

Yes it will. But the dual climate won't work
