Anti-slip mat/pad for dashboard indent area?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if there is a anti-slip pad available that is custom molded to the large indentation in the middle of the top of the dashboard for the 6.7's?

I like to keep stuff up there like my cell phone but anything I put up there goes flying around every time I drive.

Something like this, but shaped to fit the indentation would be ideal.

Why they didn't engineer this into it in the first place is beyond me.

Thanks,

Ed

First thought that comes to my mind is taping everything off and spraying it with plastidip. And if you don't like it, you can just peel it off and try something els lol.

I'm thinking of cutting a piece of toolbox anti-slip mat and just laying it up there. If it holds things from flying around and doesn't look too bad, it will have to do.

I've seen in the malls booths that sell a rubber square that goes on the dash that you can set your cell phone on and it won't slide off, even if its on a steep angle. You could cut it to whatever shape you needed.

That would've come in handy for the center console in my '05, my otterbox would never stick to that crappy plastic "wood".

You can also buy some of the liner material that you use in kitchen drawers, it comes in different colors, just cut to fit. It is rubberized material, they sell it at Wal-Mart and other stores.
