SAT Radio Malfunction

Anyone else run into any problems with their stock radio unit in their 2011 SD Lariat? My satellite radio is only receiving a handful of channels and SIRIUS has reset my account and said it must be a hardware issue as everything is good with my account on their end. I'm thinking the unit must have gone bad or is malfunctioning since I can get probably 15 channels but that's it. Just curious if this has been a recurring theme through the community or if my stuff is all jacked up....

One question are your presets still workin....

Mine did the same thing.. then all the sudden i realized that to turn channels you have to use the up or down arrows by the cd insert not the sedways arrows below it.... i know for a fact when i bought the truck i had to use the sideways arrows to turn channels... like magically one day they changed spots..... i was totally lost for a couple weeks before i figured it out...

My first preset works but when I go to switch to the others it says "Unsubscribed Channel Call SIRIUS to activate" which I have done and they continue to claim everything is good to go on their end....the only channel that does work is a premium channel and those that don't are part of their basic lineup...it's both frustrating and weird at the same time...

there is a way you can re sync your sat radio to update it... call them or its on the website some where... i have had to do that before... sounds like to me thats all you need mine did the same thing... its a process where you have to go out have your truck on channel 1 or 2 i believe and they will resend you the updates takes like 20 mins....they will walk you thru it on the phone

E-town, your problem sounds just like mine. We tried everything to re-register the unit and no luck. I ended up having the radio replaced at Ford and everything is working perfectly now. Something in the radio just apparently died with respect to satellite. I would run it in and have them check it out. Good luck
