HELP!! Problems with Hot while crank wiring

I am attemping to wire everything up so I can install my tuner next week.
The H&S book says that the capped off bundle of wire near the OBD port have a purple wire that will provide what I need..
I located said wire and tapped into but I have NOTHING..I tested a FEW more ..NOT ALL of those wires that are bundled and capped and got nothing on any of them..
Am I in the right spot?
Where is a good place to find a HOT WHILE CRANK wire for the Mini Maxx?
Not sure if I'm messed up or what..

I think those are the pass through wires. The other ends are not attached to anything and are in the engine compartment.

My mini came with a fuse tap. The fuse box is on the drivers side under the hood. I think it was fuse 53? H&s has the instructions. I just ran the wire through one of the firewall grommets. You have to cut the end off the grommet and pull out the little rubber plug.
