Ford Sync Handsfree Questions

Getting ready to purchase 2012 F250 SD Lariat Powerstroke

Does anyone know what you can and can't do with Handsfree using SYNC? Handsfree operation is one thing I am REALLY looking forward to in a new truck - it is critical in my business. Here are some of my questions:

Handsfree Navigation
1) Can I add an address via voice while driving?

2) And, related to #1, if I am heading to an address via NAV, can I add another address while driving via SYNC

Handsfree Calling
3) Has anyone used the Import Contacts function and used it with a Smartphone? If I add contacts to my smartphone address book, how often does it update? Is this automatic or is it a manual process?

Does Ford have anything similar to Onstar where you can talk to a person and have them add an address to my navigation route?

3 yes its auto - Edit ** depends on phone***

2 yes but it seems to have some limits have not tried that feature a ton

I think he means enter a destination. that would be yes too. Sync is awesome. I'm bummed that I change the radio. I know I can add it back, but I don't want another screen in my truck.

Sync is great but, Blackberry phones will not connect.

I have a 2012 F450 for a work truck and it is awesome with my Iphone, the voice function to search music and or my phone contacts is pretty cool.

I have a 2011 w/ the non-NAV premium radio with SYNC. I am using a Blackberry Torch 9800 and it works very well with the SYNC. I can make/receive calls and have imported the address book into SYNC. I am not sure how often or if it even does auto-update.

My 9810 works great aswell. Both with my ford and what ever the nav system in the trucks is called.

Iphone and sync its awesome feature

Blackberry 9900 connects fine. As it's connected to BES server, my entire outlook contact list is on my phone, over 2400 contacts. As the dealer was connecting my phone, he said he had never seen it come back with system full. I can't use the voice dialing, it just can't figure out what contact I'm looking for.

iPhone and sync work well

Only issue is it sometimes does not hang up after the call ends

Stays in phone mode any help on this - pardon the hi jack
