Gear selector gone?

I've been having my truck for 3 weeks now and I KNOW I saw on the heads up screen (between the tach and spedo) 1 through 6 (gears) and the gear I was in highlighted! It's not there anymore! I don't know what I did to the settings, but I can't get it back. When I drop the shifter in manuel, it only shows the current gear selected. is it just me?

Is it an xlt?

Try to put the gear selector in drive not manual and touch the plus or minus on the gear selector and see if that makes it show up

No It's a lariat. I dug deeper and found the answer 2 or 3 pages back. Thanks for the reply.
