cargo lamp

dont know what happened changed the cargo lamp bulbs all was well.now suddenly nocargo lamp or dome lamp when i open my doors.I checked all the fuses and they are good.anybody have anything like this happen? what did you do ?

Can you get it to come on when you push the dimmer switch up for 1 second?

no does not come on with dimmer

Are you sure you replaced the bulbs with the same exact style. All the lights turn on and off via the computer. Pushing the button or opening the door only tells the computer to turn it on. If it senses a different resistance in the bulb or if you put in an LED it probably won't work. However if you were real savvy with electronics you could probably figure out the correct resistance and wire up a resistor to simulate the right style. I'm only assuming you changed bulb styles because I can't possibly see any of these bulbs burning out so quickly. My apologies if I'm wrong.

put leds in worked initially then a day later no light so I put the stock bulbs back in

fdny136...& mor4wd..question & answer... how do u get the lense down on the front map lights. i've got the overhead with the moon roof and rear window slider switches. the rear seat dome and maps lense was hard to pull down... but she finally popped. i installed the 3 led's and still working. one thing i noticed... is that if i installed an led and it did not work, i'd flip it around and to my amazement it would lite. not sure why.... but the cargo,,hi-mount stop, rev, and lic. plate led's all had the same symptom..it was a 50/50 shot.. some worked--- some not---flipped it around and now they all work. i still have the fr & rear turns and the led hidden strobes to do.......please shed some kight on the front lense removal. thanks and think snow
