Express window upgrade

I know this may seem trivial, but does anyone know if, or what it may require, to upgrade a 2011 CC power window with express down function to the 2012 version for express up and down? The wife's vehicle has this feature and it sure is convenient. Thanks in advance.

Well, I hear that FOMOCO decided to skip this little option on the 2012YM also. Anyone got a better engineering background than me to know how/what it would take to make this happen?
Does the current Expedition offer the option? That may be a jumping off place if so.

I believe its called the regulator not really sure though. I have seen kits for other vehicles that you can change it out with. Might be a control module.

Didn't we have a post about this before on the 2005 -2009 trucks.
Thought someone went and took a part off of a TownCar and put it on
the trucks to get them to work, or an I wrong about this?

I am going to check with a friend that works at the dealership to get his opinion. It cannot be the regulator, as it is simply told which direction to go by the power window control module/switch. We replace them in our shops daily and they have to receive the information from a source "upstream" to power the motor to lower or lift. The other issue will likely be the switch bank. On the 11's, the driver window has a detent system, when pressed, that allows the first detent to drop the window without express and use the express when fully pushed into the second detent. I would think the passenger side may have to have the same detents on that switch as well, in addition to a control module that will allow this function for up/down on both front windows. Will update when I find out more. Thanks for the comments.

If the expedition switch/module is the same size as the trucks then should be as simple as swapping it out.

What is this "express up/down"? Is it one touch up and down? Bout damn time. Mercedes has been doing this since the early 90s. I was shocked to find that my 11 only had one touch driver side down.
