fog lights
Does anyone know if the fog lights can be wired to stay on with the bright's like was possible on the 03-07?

yes it can be done. what happens is the activator wire is energized through the low beams. when u switch to high beams u lose the activator for the fog relay. u need to separate that activator from the low beam curcuit.

The other option is to simply connect the highs to the fogs with a diode in between so the highs don't come on with the fogs, just the fogs with the highs.

Ive been pulled over twice for driving with my fog lights on even with my lowbeams. Both troopers told me that fogs are to be treated just like brights and are to be turned off when approaching an oncoming vehicle.

I have been pulled over for running fog-lights also. Here in Cali they said it was only for "Severe weather" that they are aloud to be used.

Wow, being pulled over for fog lights. Glad the cops did their job while other pressing problems probably passed them by. Nevermind the speeders, drunks, or the vehicles not fit to be on the road. 60K truck with fog lights on is where the action is. Ridiculous!
