leak when raining: moved to interior section

can't seem to find the cause, had the truck a month. When it rains, the front passenger side grab bar seems to fill with water and drips/pours out. I've looked over the all the door seals and everything seems kosher. Anyone else had a similar problem?
The two center dash a/c vents broke, also.

Hate to take it to my local dealer, dumba**es! The dealer I bought the truck from is 3 hrs away

sorry, thought I had posted this in the interior section

Moved it to the interior section for ya

My windshield leaks right above the steering wheel when it rains really hard. I keep saying I have to replace it, then it doesn't rain for awhile.

no, my closest dealer is 10 minutes away.....nice all new top of the line service department..friggin bunch of idiots

Bought the truck in a little middle of nowhere dealer (Andalusia Ford in Alabama) with a small, old service dept., the people there were just fantastic to deal with

back to my drip, it doesn't happen while driving only if the truck is parked while it's raining

A freind of mine had the same problem on his 05. and said the cause was from a drain tube from the moon roof. he said there is a tube that runs from the moon roof down the passenger side door pilliar. if you have a moon roof you might want to check that out. and thats if ford didn't change the design. Good luck, Bob

Ahhhhh Bob, I think you may have diagnosed it! Yes I have the moon roof, would explain why it only does it while sitting, I had the shade open on the way home tonight in a thunderstorm while driving home, I had read your post earlier today, and noticed the rain pretty much blows past the moon roof while driving.
Ill have to try and find the tube, thanks much! Will sure beat having the dealer screw something up while trying to figure this out

I've notice that my moon roof leaks, but only when I'm in one of those high pressure no touch car washes. Even then it only mists me. I'd check your moon roof seal.

well nosed around some, pulled the grab bar off on the passenger side. Couldn't find any tube running down......just the airbag stuff and a small bundle of wires. I did look at the sun/moon roof while it was open. I see what looks like drain holes in both front corners.
I left the grab bar off and noticed the water is running down from the headliner into where the grab bar is
I did check the seal and it "appears" to seal just fine

Maybe they left the drain tube off I'll have to look some more
