lariat premium stereo questions

i was playing around in the dealer yesterday and the nav system on the lariats allows you to have more than one bluetooth connected item.

so i could connect my iphone for phone and music. and maybe an ipad or something too..

does anyone know if the regular non nav premium stereo also allows multiple bluetooth items?

also, is the sound quality as good on the non nav premium? i dont want to pay $3000 for the nav which i will never use for nav, but the better sound is crucial to me. the nav system sounded really good for a stock system. i think the regular should be the same as it has the same speakers, but if anyone can confirm that it would be great.

the DVD player would be nice. but if i can have multiple bluetooth connections then i could just buy an ipad and the passengers could watch films on that.

thanks

If you don't get the nav, you'd have to get the Lariat Ultimate Package to get the premium sound system. I didn't think I'd ever use the nav either, but after having it, you realize that it does so much more. I'd hate not having it now.

There is no such thing as ultimate package in Canada. All lariats have the premium stereo.
What else does it do? I will never use nav. iPad will do video better.

My only concerns are sound quality and Bluetooth audio.

So if the premium does this then that's $3000 saved.

No. Neither the website or paper brochure list that.

Both say premium stereo with 8 speakers and sub are standard on lariat. The only option is nav system.

For $3K you could get the non-nav system and do quite a few nice upgrades to the sound system, to suit your tastes.

I've got particular tastes in sound and I find the factory system pretty good. Could it be better? Sure, but you're never going to create an optimum listening environment in a vehicle. IMHO there are better places for that!

well if the premium non nav sounds the same as the nav version that will be fine for me. i thought the nav version sounded really good...

but does anyone know the answer to my question, will the non nav stereo accept multiple bluetooth sources?

I've been looking at nav trucks for a week and today drove a non-nav Lariat (motivated by the price savings) and to me, the stereo sounded the same. Also had the sub. Not sure about the multiple bluetooth sources.
