Under rear seat storage question

In the new crew cabs with the storage compartments under the seat, are they removable for a flat floor like the F 150 has?

From my recollection they are not... Mine has not arrived, but I do believe that they are built in...

Anything is removable, I doubt you will get a fold flat floor. They didn't look designed to be removed. They can be locked and there is a power port (Cig. adapater) in them...

I could be wrong, mine hasn't come in yet, but I had a loaner for a month!

Thanks for the replys, I was just hoping the 20% side could be removed easily , it would make it easier for our dog to get in.

I hear on the dog and it being easier. I have a 130lb, 13 yr old Saint Bernard... She can't really jump anymore...

I would look - but I don't have mine yet!

Even if it isn't "made to be removed easily" - it shouldn't be anything that can't be unbolted. It just depends on how involved you are willing to get.

yes the storage trays can be removed but it is one piece that does both sides, you will have to disconnect your 12 volt acc. outlet on the drivers side and you will be losing the locking feature on both sides. I know this from planing on putting a stealth box under the seats.

Anyone want to trade or sell me one? I have an 08 with the fold flat floor.
I wonder if it would even fit in an 08?
