instrument panel
does anybody know if the instrument panel (the panel surrounding the stereo and heat, a/c controls) is interchangeable through the models, meaning, I ordered a lariat with black leather, but really dont care for the wood grain panel it comes with. I was just wondering if a replacement panel from a similarly equipped xlt would fit right in. obviously the dealer told me when I ordered it that the wood grain would be in it and they (ford) would not change it prior to shipment. just wondering. thanks

This might be a better option for you.
Take the truck to a good body shop and have them paint the interior trim any color you want. I've seen it done on other trucks and it turns out awesome if prepped/painted correctly! Just a thought! |

Is the 2011 bezel aroung the radio and heater controls held on by press pins and can you simply pry it off carefully?

Not to hi-jack the thread, wanted to know if there were any other options out there for the silver/metalic dash panels around the AC vents on the far left and right side of the dash on the KR models?

I am replacing my wood bezel with a metallic silver on my f250 Lariat has anyone removed it? do I just slowly start pulling on it to pop it off?
