I have a 2017 F250 King Ranch and I'd like to replace my front seats with a pair that have the massage feature. Anybody know where I can get a pair? Or, at least the driver seat?
There is more to it then just replacing the seat. The massage system is turned on through Sync 3 and you would need to get it updated. Ford does it based on VIN so that is not possible. Forscan maybe??
I have them and not giving them up, A buddy of mine had Leather put in at a car upholstery shop with massage, 1/4 of fords price. He DID have it reprogramed at the dealer. I guess it
more to do with the service guy you deal with he can also make the fogs and
low beams stay on with low beams
the massage is just meant to keep your butt from falling asleep on long drives it isn't a day at the spa. maybe you weren't impressed because you should have some realistic expectations lol. i realize this is a bit of an old topic but you would have to use forscan and activate the seat function in the sync system. more people are working on it and if you had the build codes from another truck that had the seats that would help.
have a 2018 KR F350 CCLB . All I have to say is that after 200 miles or so these massaging seating are it. I put a lot of miles on being a salesman here in the NW USA. I can easily put on 750 miles in a day, love these seats it has been good for my old bones.
My massage feature on my '18 platinum seems to work for about a week then it freezes up on the screen. Have to keep "master resetting" the whole sync unit to get it to work again which is annoying.
My King Ranch was doing that as well. I've had electrical problems, my truck is in the shop for the fourth time right now. They've removed the seats and replaced some parts to get my massagers to work properly. Mine were also coming on and turning off by themselves. I've had issues with the tailgate opening by itself, and sometimes it won't open at all. It also goes into the easy entry/exit mode while I'm driving it. (That makes things interesting when I'm doing 70 mph on the interstate)
I'm beginning to think that this truck doesn't like me as much as I like it.
