swapping over to lcd dash?

one thing my xlt didn't come with was the lcd dash, amist all the other special order stuff the dealer added. what's the chances of dashes being interchangeable? and by dashes, i mean the gauge cluster. I know some vehicles have can-bus and bcm tied through everything, not sure on this truck though.

There is a thread on powerstrokenation.com where's guy converted his. I think the total cost was around 700 or 800 plus a core charge for his steering wheel.
