Who has a deleted and tuned 2013, 14?

I want to deleted and tune my 13, and would like some feedback on others that have deleted theirs. I traded my 2011 (not by choice) and now have a 2013. My 11 was deleted and tuned, but of course the tuner wouldn't work on my 13 so I had to sell it.

What are the tunes available for the 13 and how does everyone like them?

Who is writing them and what kind of technical help are you getting when you have issues?

What about updates?

Thanks, Steve

H&S currently and looking at Gearhead. They supposedly have better trans tuning. SPE is also one that is used on the H&S tuners. H&S does release updates on occasion and not difficult to apply. I would recommend.

My 2013 is deleted and tuned using a Mini Maxx with Gearhead custom tunes. The H&S tunes were fine and the Gearhead are even better. I updated the tuner once using the H&S updater, very simple. I haven't had any technical issues, but H&S still gives full customer support if any problems should arise...

Thanks for the replies. I was under the impression that H&S had completely wrote their hands of the wrote delete tunes market. Now to just convince the wife that I want.... Need one.

Using a Mini Max on my '13 as well.

This is the first tuner I've ever owned. I was surprised when I found the trans actually works much better now. It doesn't hunt and shake like it did without the tuner.

I have the sct x4 with punch it performance tunes and love it. I have nothing to compare it to as far as h&s or spartan or gearhead tunes go, but it suits me just fine. Little to no smoke, smooth throughout the rpms and never goes about 24-25 psi of boost. No shift on the fly or any of those perks but I couldn't be happier with the outcome. As far as customer service, Mike at PIP is more than helpful. He responded to a text at 730 on a Friday night just to help me out. He also greatly helped another member on here when he didn't even have to. But just from reading on here, h&s has a good reputation too. My total cost out the door for tuner, exhaust and egr delete was $1330ish. And PIP comes with free tunes for life. That's what their website says anyhow. I'm surely not saying my the sct over the h&s, but going to their website is atleast worth a look. Good luck

I have the SCT X4 as well. To get it started you simply need to shoot a couple emails back and fourth but after that your good to go. I can wirelessly update the tuner when updates are available.

It was less expensive than the MiniMax. My goal was to get rid of the less than desirable junk on my truck for longevity. I didnt need the shift on the fly (although it would be cool to have). You can get the X4, exhaust, CAI, and EGR delete for less than the MiniMax.

However, I think that if you wanted to upgrade your turbo at some point, I'm not sure the X4 could accommodate that. You may need a minimax.

Same story from me except I'm using the 5015 Live Wire. Works great.
