SCT 5015 *This makes my brain hurt*

So I have been doing a bunch of reading on the SCT stuff and think that is the way I am gonna go if I do a delete. My question is, on the 5015 Livewire is there canned tunes to do the removal of the SCR and DPF? I'm not looking for smoke, shift on the fly tuning, or big numbers. I had a H&S in my 6.4 and it was way more power and smoke then I needed. If I start throwing this stuff on do I have to call and email and all that other jazz just to get it to run???

Canned tunes are DPF ON only. Delete tunes are hand wrote and custom to your year (2011-2012 or 2013-2014) truck.

Find bigpower and pm him or just wait he should be here soon, he can help and walk you threw it. Good luck

As with any custom tune you have to do all that email "jazz" lol. I believe their is less emailing if you buy a 5015 or 7015 from Rudy's or Punch It preloaded with delete tunes but I am not 100% sure on that. I am buying a 5015 myself in the next few months but I am deleting next year.

Yep. I bought a 5015 directly from PIP and there was no emailing back and forth. It was ready to go.

What about the strategy number that everyone says that you have to give them before they can write a custom tune. I am coming from a 7.3 with a shift on the fly so this fancy email tunes is new to me lol.

only on the 11-12 's . the 13+ typically need a custom strategy update manually added.

There are two reasons you wouldn't have to send it in. #1 being the Strategy code for a 2013 is the same on every truck (unlikely) and #2 they have an updated strategy code in the tuner that updates the trucks computer firmware to the strategy he was using to tune (likely).
