Fuel rail pressure box

I am interested in getting a fuel rail pressure box like the idp torq2.2 or ts performance mp8 and wondering a few things.

1. How do they work? Do they send a reduced pressure signal so the truck thinks it isn't making as much fuel pressure as it really is?

2. Which would you recommend and why?

Thanks

Mitch

From what I gather they plug in line and basically take whatever the stock signal is that's being put out and amplify it.

As for which one, I don't suggest any. I think it's a garbage way to gain a little power. Your running a system that's tuned somewhat to work in harmony and then your throwing in some other variable that is being hidden from the other systems. Just a way to screw things up. My .02
