5k miles into deletes and think turbo went out

Well I have 43,820 miles on my 2012 f350. I recently put a 5" flo pro and mini maxx on it. Don't think it has anything to do with the deletes but I think my turbo just went out on me. Pulled onto the road a it went through a couple gears then started howling and fluttering. It will only make 1psi of boost.

Check your boots. Is it blowing a lot of smoke?

Hopefully just the boot. Let us know. This is a pretty common issue I think.

I found a turbo cheap. Just don't trust anyone to put it on. Afraid that there might be trash down to the inter cooler.

Have had several people tell me that the stock turbo will never hold up to the towing that I do deleted. My truck weighs 11k setup like it is and then when I move Rv parks or move jobs I have a 36' 5th wheel that weighs 15k. Have had the boost defuel at 33psi and never exceeded it. I'm feeling like I can't stay deleted with the stock turbo and tow what I tow. But I don't want to spend that rediculous money on a different turbo setup or really even the 15' turbo. Anyone got any insite.

Have you thought about going to Truck Source Diesel off 1604 just east of 281.
If not there then next best place would probably be PSE in Houston.
I am about to do the deletes but reading this startles me even though I'm not pulling anything as heavy as you.

Hope that is some help bud.

Can't you just change to stock tune when you tow and the delete will not effect towing whatsoever? I'm pretty positive that's what most do.
