Losing boost and power at specific intervals

Hopefully you guys can help me out here. I have a problem with my 2013 6.7. I had a mini max, exhaust system, and intake installed several months ago and over all I have been happy. I do wish it got a little better mileage but I am not complaining.

The problem is a lot of time while driving along usually around 65 to 75, the truck loses boost all of sudden and spits out a huge cloud of exhaust while the truck kind of loses power. I have tried every tune that came with the mini maxx and in everyone the same thing happens. Very rarely does it happen in the morning. And the road/grade doesn't seem to matter either and actually most of the time it is flat. It has a pretty consistent timing to it and last 2 to 3 seconds of loss and then goes fine for 15 to 20 seconds, then repeats. It isn't just happens at random times and last for a little while and then stops. It feels like the truck is starving for fuel or air or something.

I have kept an eye on the throttle gauge and it remains constant when this happens. Also, never happens when the cruise control is on.

Any help would be great. I am not nearly as familiar with these engines as you all are so please don't go bashing a guy.

Thanks in advance

What was done with/to the EGR system? Blocked, removed, unplugged?

I don't think anything. Pretty sure it isn't blocked or removed, but I am not sure about unplugged. I wasn't allowed back there to watch.

Go to H&S website and download mm installation instructions and make sure both plugs to the egr are unplugged. Easy to do.
