Advice wanted

Hello All,

I am new to the diesel world and would appreciate some input. I have a 2011 F350 KR DRW all stock. I'm looking to do some mods, I essentially want to get rid of all emissions and receive better MPG and of course play around every once in a while. I'm thinking of ordering the following:

S&B Cold Air Intake
EGR Delete Kit (by Sinister Diesel)
Spartan Phalanx
aFe 4" turbo back

any suggestions would be awesome keeping in mind Im a Marine and dont make a load of money. Thank You!

Sounds like a good start, the sinister egr delete I think is the best quality and looks by far the nicest, s&b intake cleans up the engine bay. Any reason you are going with spartan over h&s? I personally love my h&s and I think they are top dog in the tuner market.

My buddy had one in his 6.4 and swore by it and the fact that its $400 cheaper kinda helped the decision lol. I've read a lot about the H&S as well seems really good as well.

If you go with Spartan and the egr delete you will also need the coolant tube sold by street diesel performance for one of the coolant readings...also with spartan you will not be able to replace your inter cooler tube with the h&s one...I switched to h&s tuner because of this...and I wasn't a fan of running 40 psi of boost that Spartans war hammer tune ran

Damn! I've never seen my boost higher than 20 psi, but I'm using the H&S low boost setting.

My xrt won't boost higher then 25, but man does she pull when it gets up there, id like to see it hit 30, just don't wanna deal with the resulting blown turbo!

Mind explaining why low boost settings are hard on heads or other eng components?
