Anyone Have Problems Going Back to Stock?

Hey all!

I am getting rid of my 2013 F250 in a few days to months and going to pick up a 2015 F350 (company is paying for it, woohoo!) when they come in.

I deleted my F250 about a month ago, and MIGHT have only put on 1000 miles, I am going to put it back to stock, but might have to do it early since I will be on the road a bit and out of town.

I deleted with unplugging the egr and putting on a 4inch flo-pro. I also used HS tow tune.

Should I return it to stock the day I do the deal?

Or should I just return it to stock early and just take it to the dealer when I can.

I just don't want something to go crazy while I am stock.

I also could do the trade in anytime from this weekend to end of August.

I will only be commuting in-town on (weekends only) with it until the deal is done so I may put only another 1500 miles on it by August, if it even takes that long.

Do it early just in case. As long as you unplugged the EGR connectors the only thing that might be an issue is the DEF pump. I had mine replaced on my '11 after being deleted for over a year and going back to stock.

I will keep that in mind. I have an HS XRT pro, that I got from rudy for 11 to 14 model years. I might do $1000 shipped.

a dieselsite fuel filter set up (used for 1500 miles) Ill probly ask $450 shipped for it.

Also have a bakflip F1 with bakbox I'll let go for $600, but that would have to be for local pick up.

I also have a dummy SCR DPF that I got from another superduty owner. I was going to hollow it out so I can pass emissions and visual inspections. I live in Las Vegas and we have CA emissions standards here So I would have mine set up to pass it, but still be deleted. Sneaky!

Now that work is paying for a company car I cannot mod the new one.

I will be going from a Lariat to an XLT, but it's freeeeeeee.

This stuff is not for sale YET. LOL still using it.

When I traded my 6.4 I went went back to stock the day before the trade. Test drove all was good. Ran errands (further distance than the test drive) later the same day and threw a code. Thought is was just cause first time back to stock, cleared the code, drove code came back (forget which was a fuel preasure sensor code I believe).

I had a trade number based on a carfax without them seeing the truck so I was concerned if there were codes. Got the electronic cleaner spray back out and re-cleaned al the sensors. Drove it further and all was good. Got up the next morning washed it and took it in they checked it over verified bumper was not to high (PA has guarantee inspection or it goes to auction) and then they put it on the used lot.

So, you don't have to change back to soon, just give yourself time incase.

Dealer warrantied it with no issue.

Made the sale to the dealer. Told them that I tuned it and what I did. They did not care as long as I put it back to stock. I returned back to stock, but had a check engine light. I think it was a p0403 and p0405 code. Both were egr related.

Dealer gave me 45000 for my truck with 6900 miles on it.

Strange that I got an egr code with so few miles while deleted.

In a loaner for my company until I get my 2015.

Going to sell my HS xrt pro for 11-14, dieselsite fuel filters, and edge insight soon. Want to package it all together to get it out of my hair at one time. Thinking $2000 shipped for all 3.
