Who can we beat?

Just for fun, cai, tune and stright pipe who can we (6.7) roll up on and beat? Anyone have a win (or loss) that they know what the other vehicle had done to it. I know a stronger tuned 6.4 will walk but that's all I know.
I will start I know my stock 6.7 cclb on 35s will beat a stock f-150 lol

A stock 6.7 puts down 344 RWHP...

So MAYBE you could beat a 7.3...

But any tuned truck will walk away from a stock 6.7.

I went up against a 50ish year old guy in his Maserati Quattroporte with only my H&S set on HOT and beat him. I hooked better than he did and he did keep up with me, however, the nose of his car never came past my back bumper.

He may not have been the best driver, but it was a smiling victory for me and a dumbfounded look of defeat on his face haha.

I might try and race more people after I delete everything this weekend or so.

I think a V6 ecoboost can take your CCLB on 35's...

I beat people off the line from a red-light all the time. I'm not sure if they know we're racing, but when they do realize it's already too late.

Nope, I got together with 2 buddies from work one night. One with a 2013 F150 with an ecoboost, the other with a 2013 Ram 1500 with a hemi and I beat both. The dodge was faster then the ecoboost and pretty close to my F350. Off the line they were a bit faster, pre spooling the turbo helped alot off the line on the second go round. All 3 trucks are tuned now so we are gonna go for another cruise one night and see what happens!

How are you suppose to pre-spool the turbo or do a boost assisted launch? Do you hold the brake or take it out of gear?

When I did it against the Maserati, I put it in 4-Hi, and just held the brake pedal down hard as I pressed the gas pedal.

Mash the brake as hard as you can and slowly build throttle until you start seeing boost, it wont be much maybe 5+ psi, but its enough to cut the spool up time to nothing when you mash the throttle. These bad boys will try and creep, the tiny brakes cant hold the power haha.
