Another mini maxx Thread..

Alright....

Bought a "Pre-Hacked" mini maxx.. After i bought it of course i read somewhere that if you update on H&S website youll lose the unlock hack.

How often do you have to update the mini maxx?

What happens if your deleted and you lose your accessibility to the Delete tunes? (your screwed is my guess)

How hard is it to get a legit unlock code while living in Michigan? (No EPA laws here)

Uhh I bought a "Pre-Hacked" tuner as well and have already updated it, but I haven't installed it yet. I hope the delete capabilities are still there now. I was told by someone that it was okay and even recommended to update the tuner before installing. We shall see...

I emailed my vendor asking if its update friendly we will see what he has good to say. PM me who you bought your tuner from maybe we got them from the same place.

EDIT: OH! and boy am i glad i decided to get my dirty little paws on a tuner when i did because the price already jumped 500 bucks from when i bought it haha

Dang! Yeah it's jumped up $100 bucks at the place I bought from. The person who referred me to my vendor told me to do the update before installing. He presumably did the same before installing and he is successfully deleted right now. I don't think there should be a problem with me updating. If there is, I'm sure my vendor will be able to do something about it as there were no instructions indicating not to update the tuner.

Maybe im just over thinking things. But when it comes time for me to delete and i do all the work of the delete pipes and drilling a hole through my bed for my stacks just to find that the tuner isnt delete capable anymore because i updated it is a pretty big kick in the balls because now i am stranded at my shop (where i do all my work) with a deleted truck and no delete tunes lol

Yeah that would suck! You got me worried now. I actually have plans to delete tomorrow, but I'm so damn tired from moving into my new place that I can see myself sleeping through my appointment. We'll see. Need to go to bed.
