Mini Maxx Street Tuner

I got my hands on an early model Street Tuner 109007. Apparently so early that I have to update it for it to even work on my '13 F-250. Version number showing is 6.8.41.

Here's where I'm stuck. I know that the early models can be hacked to unlock the high sulphur tuning. What I don't know is at what version # they eliminated that availability. So that is Question 1.

Question 2 is if I can obtain the hack from one of you thrifty genius's on here and then I update the tuner so that it'll work on a '13 model, will I lose the hack in the process?

Feel free to PM me with your answers if necessary and thanks in advance!

How much did you pay for it? For about $1800, you could have bought one pre-hacked with delete software for your 2013. I didn't know you could get them hacked on your own. You may end up getting it done for less than I paid.

I paid $1200 for it new in the box. Wanted a virgin one because so folks are running their own custom tunes through them and passing them off as high sulphur unlocked.

It can be done, was common a year ago. After the new 2nd gen street tuners arrived, the hack kinda died away but I know there's still some folks that know how to do it....just don't know who, lol. Hopefully one will see this and contact me.

From my understanding you will lose the delete capability when you update for 13+ but I could deff be wrong, this tuner crap is by far the most confusing aspect of truck ownership.

It's going to cost you $450 to $500 to have a "Qualified" diesel performance company properly upgrade the tuner for the 2013-2014 models AND make it capable of deleting the DPF. This means that your $1,200 tuner just became a $1,700.00 tuner. Oh, by the way, they typically send you the files and it's up to you to have the necessary computer skills and knowledge of the H&S tuner to install the files.

I'll PM a link to a company that offers these services.

Thank you ************* for the unlock code. For anyone else reading this. Don't listen to these guys trying to get you to pay them for their custom tunes. If you get an early version of the street tuner, it can be unlocked where you will be running true H&S delete tunes on 2013 up trucks.
