boost ?

my truck is deleted but here lately I have noticed on the mini max that my boost has gone from 25-26 down to 23 is the highest I have seen. that is with a new air filter what could b the cause of this drop?

Did you update your tuner recently? Changing your air filter shouldn't decrease boost.

I mean im not expert with the mini maxx but i have done my fair share of research on them and you can set custom boost settings to where itll shut the fuel off to prevent over boosting. You could try looking into what your tuner has the boost cap set at?

All the newer updates bring the boost down a notch to keep the 11 and 12 turbos from blowing up just get an MCC file you can make a lot of power with a cleaned up tune with a good timing table ive seen trucks with over 30 lbs of boost get spanked by a truck maxing out in the low 20s because the timing tables are out of wack and it shows as a ploom of black smoke out of the tail pipe . Peak HP shows itself as a nice gray haze

the defuel on boost is at 33. I am not worried about the amount of boost just the fact that it has dropped 4-5 lbs. I have 30000 miles tuned so far was wondering if any thing was getting weak.
