Can this be used on a non-tuned truck? Or do I need to have a tuner to remove an error code created by this? Or? Thanks in advance.

This has nothing to do with being tuned...can be done on any truck with three locker.

Got the lock device installed. It's just a wiring harness that you have to splice in. On the passenger side floor up high on the right side is a control module. Directions have you un plug the black and brown plugs. Have to splice into one wire....cut 2 others than connect the harness to them. All necessary stuff is supplied. Just need wire cutter/stripper/crimper. A bit of a pain working under there but being lifted helped my back out so I wasn't so low. The instructions say your indicator light may or may not work. Mine does not....the only way I know I'm locked in now is if I try to take a turn with it on the tires will drag a bit.

Just don't leave it locked when you shut your truck off. Will kill your battery.

Yup. I've heard from a few other guys too. Not a big deal just something to remember.

Sounds like a poorly "engineered" product. It should be "Plug & Play" and the indicator light should work for all applications, instead of being Hit-or-Miss.

I'll pass on this one!

lol how are you supposed to have any fun if your just worried about a little light that won't be on the dash?! I mean my truck always says I need to service the advancetrac when I start it.... But I can also do doughnuts without my traction control stopping me!
