DPF On Tuning.....Suggestions?

Looking to give my 2012 stroke a little more get up n go. Not looking to delete, so looking for suggestions on the best route to go to make the most power without deleting. Thinking of doing filter back exhaust, (4 or 5 inch? What brand?), S&B intake, and tuner. Which tuner do y'all suggest? H&S? SCT? Banks? Does Spartan have filter on tuning? Thanks all!

filter back is a waste

I like H&S. It would give you the option to delete later

Never understood why anyone would want to either. Literally same as flushing money down the toilet.

x2 on the H&S

I don't know if Spartan has DPF On tunes for the 6.7, but I know they did when I had my 6.4, and it ran pretty darn good with those tunes before I deleted it.

I still have my DPF on but I'm using an H&S Mini Maxx Race Tuner and it still works. I just don't have the money to do the DPF,SCR and EGR delete the way it should be done (the correct way) and I don't want to do it cheap just to do it.

Go for H&S but if you have no intentions on deleting, it's kind of pointless.

I ran the Bank's Automind tuner before going deleted and had great success with it. It gave me the added power I was looking for and I had an increase in MPG.
I do agree with everyone else that has chimed in though about H&S. If you think you will ever delete, get an H&S Mini Maxx or XRT Pro now.

Is anyone running an H&S race tuner but with DPF on? I may do this until I have the stones to delete.
Deleting has me concerned about warranty and legality.
Has anyone that is deleted run into legal issues / inspections? I really do NOT want to take it off and put stock back on.
Warranty is becoming less of a concern for me.
If I buy a race tuner, I assume H&S will still support it? MiniMax the way to go?

I currently have the H&S Mini Maxx Race Tuner installed on my 2011 and I also still have the DPF and other emissions stuff installed on my truck for the time being. I just don't have the money to finish the job. There aren't many updates anymore for my year truck so I am not 100% sure on whether H&S will support it still and still be releasing updates for the race versions.

Whether you choose to go with a Mini Maxx or the XRT Pro is your decision. The mini Maxx allows for changing the tunes on the fly, setting Pyrometer defuels, custom gauge readouts and the unit is always connected to the OBD port. The XRT Pro you simply connect to the OBD port, load your tune (~15min) and then you drive. You can't change power levels on the fly like you can with the Mini Maxx. It also does have any gauge readouts however is it like half the cost. I'm not sure if the XRT can use the MCC tuning where you can make your own tunes or load tunes you got from others but the Mini Maxx does have that ability. If you have a 2011 or 2012 the race tuner will work fine, I'm not sure if it will if you have a 2013 or newer and I know some guys were having problems with it not working. Call H&S I guess to double check.

Hope all that helps

H&S is the way to go for sure. I ran their DPF on tunes for a couple weeks and really liked it. S&B is also a great choice for the intake. As far as the DPF back exhaust its purely cosmetic and you wont gain any sound or performance. People seem to complain that its a waste of money but its really no different than any other visual mod. Like what real gains are from aftermarket wheels, nothing, but they look better.
