H&S Install Questions

I started installing my mini maxi for my 2013 F250 tonight and ran into a power issue. It says to run a wire to the fuse box (Passenger kick panel) and I don't see an easy way to get a wire over there without taking the dash apart. There has to be a wire directly under the driver dash so I can have the unit turn on/off with the key... any help would be appreciated.

I believe the wire is supposed to be taken to the fuse box under the hood.

With that said, you can connect to the white with blue stripe that comes out of the firewall in the PTO bundle
Black F250 and brendan.9 like this.

check underneath the steering wheel column by the dash. I installed mine and found a wire that is powered only when the ignition is keyed. I can't remember what the color code is but I thought the same thing when installing my race tuner a couple weeks ago. I didn't even want to run the separate power wire to the fuse box, but then I found the instructions saying you can find a wire and tie into that.
