Holy Pyro 1 craziness!

Ok guys. Been doing some reading and everything turns into an infomercial for egr deletes. Just a quick answer if y'all have time please.

Truck is a 12 F350. Have minimaxx installed with high sulphur tuning. Just put a 5" flo pro on no muffler no bungs.

I just zip tied up all the factory exhaust sensors.

Quick rop around the block and she's full time defuel due to pyro 1. Climbed quick to 1500-1800 so I just strolled home.

Is this a real number (doubt it)?

Is this going to wreck anything until I do end up doing a delete?

No way the exhaust is still 2000 degrees after sitting for 30 minutes.

What tune, pyro source selected (in MM settings) and prob do you have installed? Example... h&s tunes use the EGR prob while SPE and others use prob from exhaust.

Pyro source with the crazy temps is Factory, H&S Shows 0.

Been doing some reading here, looks like with DPF deleted and no EGR delete I have no EGT probe at all and those numbers are total crap.

Will wait to turn it back to defuel at 1450 once I do EGR delete and have a probe in the blocker plates.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong,

Nope your fine turn the defuel settings off on your mini until you do the delete it cannot read a temp so it assumes that temp......your fine mine did the same thing until I did the delete now it is only like 6-700

I mistakenly used the EGR probe with my H&S Black Maax. Had really bizarre readings like you're getting. Switched to a probe from the exhaust and all was well.

Recently, I did the mini maxx and exhaust. I would like to get the EGT's displayed on the screen. I only have the EGR unplugged now. What is my best route for EGR and "pyro"? Sorry, I'm also a truck noob and only knew about "EGT's". Best route cost effective btw. Thanks.
