Tuning a 6.7

Is there anyone that can tune a 6.7 or are we stuck with canned tunes? I like how the truck drives stock but want more power. I have a H&S tuner on it now but it is not linear power. Feels sluggish right off idle then feels like you get full command at only quarter to half throttle. Anyone else have this issue?

What other mods do you have ?? There are a lot of ways to " widen " your power band and gearing plays a large portion in it . I would get an MCC unlock and give SPE a try there are guys on here running low 13s with minimal mods with the HotX tuning and I personally run a tow safe version ( boost maxes out at 23-24 and EGTs stay low ) and it is still very quick even on 35s with 3.32 gears.

No mods, still sitting back and watching (researching) what the best turbo(s) to get. I do have a 4.5" lift with 35's with 3:31 gears. Will the MCC let me fix the sluggish bottom end and make power linear?

I think the sluggish bottom end might be by design. We seem to have the ability to bend rods with too much low end torque. I think there's a definite balancing act between the rods, the weak turbo and the limits of the CP4.

The SPE hot tune is really pretty nice....but with the MMC...you can tune to your hearts content.

Good Luck,

Wayne

Ya I agree with tuning to save the rods but it should be linear. I have calls into walls rods & customs, sheid's and demonic to see about tunes. I want to change turbos but kinda waiting to see how the new 15' works out. I will try SPE as well. Thx
