Tuners

I have a 2013 6.7 Powestroke. I pull a trailer most of the time and run about 50,000 miles a year. I have been reading some of the posts about the different tuners and options to increase fuel economy and boost power. I have several people around here that swear by the Bully Dog tuners. I've been looking at the Triple Dog GT as an option. Anyone running one of these? Any problems it creates? Will it affect my emissions sensor?

You'll find a lot of people on these forums dont like Bully Dog. You're best bet for DPF-ON tuning is either an SCT with Innovative Diesel tunes or an H&S Street Tuner.

I'm running one in my '13. Only complaints are an occasional check engine light and it won't tune for different tire sizes. Unless you're going to delete the DPF, not much reason to spend the extra money when you can get a Bullydog for $300 or less used.

Except the fact that i'm pretty sure that Bullydog STILL doesn't tune your trans to handle the additional power. For a '13, i'd go H&S.

Why buy a $50-60k truck and spend $300 on a tuner that "probably" won't wreck anything when you can spend a few extra dollars on a tuner that you know won't wreck anything.
