What could this be coming from

[IMG][/IMG]

If the video works why would I have smoke coming from there? It's like it's by the turbo but only under throttle and it's also where a squeal sometimes comes from

you either have an exhaust manifold leak on that side or you have a CCV hose leaking , those are the only ways your going to have smoke up there in my opinion

well got it figured out i think. The tube coming of the turbo thats goes into the egr ( i think thats what it is) is really loose and seems like its not even on there and then the hose that comes from the bottom of that and goes to the intake looks like it has a small hole in it which would also explain my squealing noise i have as well. so now my question is does anyone make a kit for new pipes and boots for these?? i also have a spartan so if i read it correctly i cant just take the egr of or can I??

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? I've got a similar issue with my truck at the moment but unfortunately I didn't notice until my entire passenger side engine bay was covered in soot...

Yes I did it ended up being a couple exhaust manifold bolts broke/ missing and also the connection to the turbo that clamp/ gasket was bad as well . They replaced it under warranty . Only reason I found it was because I started to have a really high pitched squeal/ whistle at warm up and on take off

So they didn't say anything about it being deleted and just fixed it under warranty? Hope I'm as lucky, I'm going to try and take mine up there this week. I never had a high pitched squeal but definitely have a massive exhaust leak and under part throttle it's noticeably slowing my spool up/boost.

Negative my dealership doesn't care about being deleted they said there isn't really many things that ford is actually gonna come and check out the truck for. The service manager said he thinks the best thing for these new trucks is to be deleted because just about everyone that has any type of issues is because of the emissions system. Several guys around here have 6.4's deleted and they still do warranty work. I am one of the first few around the area that have the 6.7 deleted and now that I have deleted it I have had a lot of guys talking to me about it and wanting to do the same .
