Exhaust Brake Controller

Alright guys so i have been doing a bunch of research and am going to start testing very soon as i would love to have a better exhaust brake on my dually and im sure you guys feel the same way. The stock "exhaust brake" is very close to being false advertising as it does not close the veins past approximately 55%. I need some input from you guys on how you would like the exhaust brake to be active.

1. A "arming" switch is turned on then whenever you are off of the accelerator pedal the exhaust brake turns on. Downside to this is the exhaust brake cannot be armed when using cruise control otherwise damage to the turbo/motor could occur. Upside is it can be used to warm the truck up faster when it is cold.

2. A "arming" switch is turned on then whenever you are on the brake pedal the exhaust brake turns on. You do not have to be on the brakes per say but just lightly on the pedal. This option can be used with cruise control but cannot be used as a cold warmup feature.

3. Just a simple toggle switch to turn it on and off. I see many problems with this such as forgetting to turn it off at the bottom of the hill etc.

Please give me your input on how you would want the exhaust brake to be active.

Thanks

Mitch

Option 1. Only time you would need it is decending a long grade. I personally wouldn't be on cruise.
