Anybody installed one these? Thoughts? I have had the upgrade bug lately and this looks to be a wise investment...

I see no reason not to buy it. First there have been some threads with people that have blown out their stock intercooler pipe, second, it is made by a very reputable company. For the money I wouldn't wait till I was pulling a grade with a trailer behind me for my stock one to blow out

I like where your head is at...basically my thoughts too. I recently have gone nuts on upgrades and looking to get some second opinions...when it comes to motor upgrades Im a bit gun shy as I am not that knowledgeable about these trucks...I sure have learned a lot about these trucks in the past month. Sure do love this forum

My pipe upgrade will be here next weak...but I was looking at the instructions and it completely eliminates the throttle body with the butter fly valve...which I have learned with a Spartan tune has to be connected or the truck runs super week...I am wondering if this part is completely eliminated will a Spartan tuned truck run fine since there is no valve to fluctuate...I will call Spartan and h&s Monday to discuss this...anybody that is Spartan tuned running this h&s intercooler pipe upgrade please post with any info..thanks

So Spartan really didn't have a solid answer but had to assume it wouldn't work as their tuning requires the use of the throttle body butterfly valve...h&s tuning does not use it so removing it all together is no issue for that....I ordered the h&s tuner today
