SPE tunes

How is everyone liking the shift quality on the SPE? My hs is having some shift flares and such?
Also sorry to beat this to death I'm thinking of going with cai but I want the one with a prefilter for fine dust...
Thx

I've really liked mine. I ended up getting the SPE softer trans tune which is about perfect. I am afraid to switch to standard H&S after hearing the issues of people switching from SPE. When I switched from SPE hard to SPE soft the very first shift flared and then it was fine after that. Send SPE and email, they care and should be able to work it out for you.

I'm still running the original SPE trans tune. And I have close to 5k miles I think and I'm pretty happy with it. Shifts are nice and firm. A little to firm when truck is cold but I expect that.

Everyone that has switched to the milder trans tune has liked it better. So I might give it a try.

Have any of you tried towing with the tune?

have a 2013 running a custom tune from Dan. Egh....... From the h&S-powerlabs tune to theirs I feel a very slight power increase but major increase in egts/smoke and i still prefer H&S-powerlabs trans tune over SPE.
H&S-powerlabs tune= bought a H&S mini maxx from Powerlabs with their tunes but Dan from SPE said they were close to H&S tunes. so....... h7s-powerlabs tune it is. Hope this helps....

Is the shift flair from HS normal ? because i have a 2013 that recently lost some weight upstairs and down and ive noticed that when doing a merge or gas it when pulling onto a street from a roll. Also it takes off out of the hole super quick its very difficult to keep a consistent speed in a parking lot. Any help would be appreciated
