2011 f250 manga flow delete pipe

I have a magnaflow exhaust that just came in. It sent me a muffler and a muffler delete pipe. What's advantage of delete pipe? And if I put that piece on instead of muffler, will it throw a code? Or is as simple as putting it on and off I go?

DPF back exhaust doesnt throw any codes, its just like taking the muffler out of any other vehicle. No performance or sound gains unless you do a DPF delete. And yes just install it and enjoy the new look of your exhaust. Don't forget to add pics of how it looks
