First Diesel.....Mods?

I have a 2012 6.7, it is my first diesel truck, I want to get better fuel economy and unleash more power. I am told that I should do a programmer (H and S or Spartan) along with DPF delete......I already have a S and B CAI. Anyone have a good combo suggestion? At some point I will also be doing a 4 inch lift with 35's, but want to do the engine mods first. HELP!!

You are correct with the programmer and exhaust, that should be good unless you got deep pockets then you can get a bigger turbo and either dual fuellers or a larger fuel pump if you really want more power.

Better fuel economy? My dad averages like 18mpg. Cant ask for too much more than that for a 4 ton truck. When you do a 4" and 35s you can go ahead and get ready for around 14

I still get 20 on the highway with 35s intown is a different story though haha

That's pretty good. I've seen a lot of 6.7s fuel mileage plummet with 35s

I usually do between 62-68 mph, at 68 with a head wind I still got 17 on the highway

A friend of mine has a 6" on 35's and averages 18 mpg, but he has the Mini Maxx pre ban programmer, dpf delete, and CIA. Thats the direction I think I want to go but considering the Spartan programmer. Any insight regarding Spartan?

I run the Spartan on my truck and I like it, it's not shift on the fly like the Mini Maxx is but that's why I chose it. If you do a lot of towing I'd suggest the Mini Maxx because it is so quick to go from towing to performance.

I really just want to get better mpg and unleash a bit of power, the most I tow is a 4500 lb boat, 4-5 times a month. I don't plan on changing the programs very often. I would rather run one progrma most of the time. Would you do the spartan with the dpf delete or the Mini Maxx street and leave the dpf intact? BTW, I appreciate your input.
