torq 2.2 and the like questions

I'm considering the torq 2.2 and I'm wondering if there are any other/ better options that wont kill the warranty?

Also have they worked out the all the bugs yet? I'd really like to have something that I don't need to spend a ton of time thinking about.

I thought the 2.2 had pretty much all bugs worked out

I've been running the 2.2 for a couple months, and haven't had any trouble at all. I'm pretty sure all the bugs are worked out.

Yes, it is fully adjustable. I went with the recommended setting of "2" and have had zero shifting issues. Also, i have kept it on 100% since day one. When I was running stock tires, I easily got 20mpg, but since I went to the nitto trail grapplers, I do good to get 16 going downhill with a strong tailwind.
I have never towed anything more than my Scag zero turn on my 20' car hauler, and I always leave it on the 2/100% setting.
The guys at IDP are very prompt when answering emails and phone calls, so they'd be better to answer your towing question.

I have no complaints with it at all. If I wasn't concerned with losing my warranty, I would have opted for one of the popular tunes, but at this point, I'm just too scared to take that chance.

So I've run the torq2.2 for about 4 months and recently took it off to get the truck serviced, here are my impressions.

1. I really like the power. I set it at 100% the whole time and the power add was pretty nice. The truck feels like it has no turbo lag and when the turbo does hit watch out lol

2. Zero performance issues truck seems to drive like stock.

3. Easy in and easy out. Install and removal are really easy once you get the hang of it. I didn't mount the knob in the cab though.

I have a Torq 2.2, which I bought used a few weeks ago from another member here on the forum. I haven't installed it yet, but I've also bought an H&S Mini Maxx in the meantime. I'm not sure if I should use the Torq 2.2 just until the 36k warranty expires than use the H&S Mini Maxx, or just say F*** the warranty and go ahead with the H&S Mini Maxx. I would sell my Torq 2.2 module now, but 36k miles is a long time to go with stock performance only.

I bought the torq 2.2 from a member on here. I like it so far. Can't really tell and mpg improvements but it definitely has more power. Can't remember what my settings are on but I know it's on 100%. The hold tab on the plug for the fuel rail was broke off. He failed to mention that but it's been doin fine so I'll keep on keeping on. I have a bad itch to full delete it but the kinda helped to hold me back. I need to keep the warranty
