Tuned '13 trucks, what your pushing for boost?

Just curious as to what you '13 models are getting for turbo boost. I cant seem to get mine up over 23-24 psi, and I am running SPE tunes and everything. I am at altitude however, 5300', which will make some difference.

Mine is about the same. Remember, boost pressure is a restriction. Your goal isn't to see how high you can get the pressure. Its to make sure you are using the pressure available efficiently.

From Dan @ SPE:
"Kris, I have the boost set a bit lower for the 13 trucks to help keep the turbos together, also the elevation doesnt help. Its limited because at higher boost levels the drive pressure goes through the roof and gets very inefficient. They do drop volume but the air is not as hot. Its a give and take kind of thing. Boost does not necessarily mean horsepower." I guess the lower boost is due to his tuning.

2013 tuning limits boost to 26 psi.
The vane position is at 2% where on the older tunes it is at about 15%.

FWIW This amount of boost is similar to our turbo saver tunes we have been sending out for a few months now.

We have gotten a few calls on this and we confirmed with H & S, 26 is the correct amount of boost on the 2013.

Yes, take the micro sd out of the tuner, put it into the adapter, and plug the adapter into your usb port on the computer, then just run the H%S updater on their website.
