6.7 PSD tuner with warranty

I did some searching and pulled up nothing. I'm sure I'm missing something with my search but regardless...

Is there a delete kit I could install then remove for warranty work or can Ford see what has been done. Talking either a 2012 or 2012 PSD here.

Ford can tell it's been tuned by looking at the checksum I believe in the ECU even if you've turned everything back to stock if they really wanted to be a stickler about it.

You've got to pay to play so if you delete just own up to the risk that you might have to replace parts of something breaks. The things that are breaking on tuned trucks are breaking on stock trucks for no reason generally like turbo failures and are about 2-3k to replace if it happens which isn't too bad. If you tune it, don't turn the boost up past 33psi because that seems to be the safe point...a lot of the tuned trucks with turbo failures have been on MCC custom tunes with higher boost up to 38psi in some cases and it seems the stock turbo isn't meant for that high of boost regularly.

From what I understand, even if the tuner removes the "footprint" so the dealer cant tell its been tuned (as people say Spartan tuners do) they can still check how many regens the truck has gone through and compare it to the mileage. For example, if you got 50k miles on you truck and only 10-20 regens well then they obviously know that somethings been done to the truck

Hmmm ok. Is anyone running a straight pipe with dpf on? How does that sound? I've been looking for a video of that.

An exhaust with DPF on is just for looks. No power and no sound increase.
