Mini Maxx Race vs Mini Maxx Street

Lets try this again, I posted in the wrong section earlier.

My father is dead set on the the H&S for his 2013 F-250. Is it worth spending the extra money on the older Race Tuner than the new Street Tuner? I've researched what I can but was wondering if anyone could give me more insight. I doubt he deletes emissions at all. He's stubborn. He wants to drop the extra money for the older Race Tuner but is it worth it? "The more money it is the better it has to be." Thanks in advance.

Yes just do it. Your truck will love you and he will love his truck even more! I love my 13' running a custom mcc file averaging 19-22 mpg!

Thanks. I was getting mixed reviews as to whether it would work on a 2013 or not. Some said yes and some said no.

You need a street tuner with unlock code which is basically a race tuner

Dude, just call H&S and ask them. They won't sell it to you, you have to go through a distributor. H&S people know it better than any of us online people. I have an early version on a 2011 and they have been spot on with every question I asked. They will walk you through whatever you can manage to mess up, just in case.

I ended up calling H&S. Got all my questions answered. Thanks for the advice.

Not sure what H&S told you, but I suspect they said: No deletes for '13, no race tuner.

Do a search on here, there's a guy with photos and vid of a '13 that's Minimax deleted and tuned. He didn't say how, but it can be done.

No, it is not worth doing. He should sell the race tuner and buy a street tuner. Much cheaper that way
