Another delete question

Whats everyone do with their probe wires and disconnected urea stuff? I live where there's snow, mud and junk on the roads so I don't really want them just blowing in the breeze. I'm kinda surprised that they don't sell "blanks" to put in the plug ins.

I also tried finding blanks to plug in. I ended up packing the ends with dielectric grease, then cutting the fingers off some heavy duty silicone gloves, putting 2 fingers inside each other then sticking the ends inside the fingers. I ziptied the wire behind the connector to hold everything. Then ziptied them up out of the way. I'll inspect them during oil changes to make sure all is well. Alot of guys just use electrical tape to protect the ends but I cant seeing that stopping salt, etc. I did the same glove trick to my EGR connectors under the hood.

How about cutting the opposing connector from the deleted item and plugging it back in?

I don't want to cut those in case I want/need to take the truck in for warranty work or if I sell the truck down the road and someone wants the stock exhaust on it. I guess grease it is then.

Maybe Ford sells the plugs for the wiring harness?
