New H&S .31 Tune Updates - Awesome!!!

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share my experience with the new H&S tune updates. I just downloaded the .31 tune for my Mini Maxx and the truck feels smoother than ever. The way they adjusted the boost etc on the new tune is exactly what I wanted. My turbo doesn't just shoot up to 33 psi anymore when you lay into it or when loaded. The most I've gotten it to show now is 28 psi, and it goes up there very smooth, which seems like much less stress on the turbo/rods!!! I love how the truck runs right now, and since my last update, the trans feels amazing too. I also do not get any compressor surge lugging uphill anymore. LOVE IT!!! Great Job H&S

Were you running their most recent tune before this one? Or dod you update from an older tune?

i'm really liking the .31 update too. I had the most recent update before the .31.

i never really liked the way the boost always just shot up very high (to me like what seemed sort of out of control-ish) under even normal driving circumstances. it seems now that the turbo is more controlled and I like that.

I just did the update to .31 also, up until then I was running .21. I agree, much smoother power delivery, seemed like with .21 the truck hit hard as the power came on and I was noticing a lot of PSI spikes (into mid-30s) with the torque converter locked and giving it more power.

What are you guys running on the low boost pressure? I set it to 3 when I reprogrammed, the option was between 1-5. I do notice a little smoke when I get on it off the line but nothing too bad. What is the advantage of running it higher (or lower) on this setting?

Yeah that would be no fun! These snow birds down here in Florida need it from time to time...

Just did it. Took it around the block and she seems better. Like the shift pattern so much more.
