Too much boost?

Hello
I have a 2012 with a minimaxx and 5" Flopro w/ muffler. I set my defuel to 32psi and I always hit it on all setting besides stock. Most of the time I'm only at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. Does this seem right and I get into it hard it defuels right away? Do I have my defuel set to low? It's kind of pointless to change power when it defuels right away. My brother has the same setup with earlier 2012 and 3.31 rear end and never a hits 32

Mine does the same thing, its normal. I defuel sometimes when I get on it every once in awhile. Normal

Not trying to be rude but are you sure you have the defuel set right or that it flashed properly? You shouldn't be able to hit that kind of boost at 1/2 throttle, let alone at 1/4 throttle. Bearing in mind that 1/4 press of the peddle isn't necessarily 1/4 throttle, that's all contingent on the throttle mapping. I.E. 1/4 press might be more like 3/4 throttle based on the throttle mapping. I would try upping it to 33psi and see if that fixes your defueling issue. Does it spike that high regardless of temperature? I could see maybe in winter but in warmer temps also?

FWIW I hit 32psi on my 2011 in cooler weather like sub 50 degree and I'm rolling 3.31's

Not true. Raise your defuel and let the tune do what its supposed to: Unleash the turbo!

I attached my defuel levels. That's is what I thought, it seems to go off all the time and when I get on it it defuels all the time, it's kinda pointless. I have all the levels set to hs recommendations. It is more when I accelerate and it does not downshift . I want to unleash it as long as it doesn't mess up turbo. Thx again looking for more input

Is it safe to defuel at 33 or 34?

I would leave it at 32 psi. You are taking a chance on messing up your turbo. I dunno how much these stock turbos are able to handle. Im just saying it probally wont blow but say 10 20000 miles down the road. I would wait for the drop in turbo drom SPE. Then unleash that bad boy to like 40 or 50 psi.

I was having the same problem when mine was at 32. I bumped it to 33 and it is a lot better.

I put mine at 33 and yes 25-35% throttle will get 32 most of the time and I also have lbf at 1 and will pour out smoke if you throtle it 75-80%. Only way to keep from smokin is gentle ease into throtle. monitor boost and mine always stops at 32 max. I have 3.55 with 18 stock tires so like 33s cc sb

Any idea what those turbos are going to run price wise?
