H&S 150 vs Spartan 165
Has anyone compared the 2 for power?? whitch is better for power thanks..

well.....not to be a D but, 165 sounds like spartan is faster.....but have you heard the rod throughing issue with too much torque too fast? I have also heard trans issues with spartan but they had an update that supposedly fixed the issue.......

we have two trucks, both 2012, one with the HS one with spartan.
HS: HOT tune Spartan: 165 Tune HS: little to no smoke, quieter motor, smoother acceleration, smoother easier shifting, but still firm. Spartan: Lots of smoke, noisy motor, harsh acceleration, but insane fast, hard shifts, sometimes awkward shifts. As far as fuel economy goes, the verdict is still out on that. Honestly, the spartan is a good tuner, and available, I cannot complain, but I would run a lesser HP setting just to be safe, Im honestly afraid of the spartan taking out the engine or trans personally, where the HS im way more comfortable driving it, and I feel like that truck is more "reliable".. Nothing more then that. |

just want to see if the 165 would be quicker than my friends h&s is all. we do go to the drag strip a couple times a year for fun.. had a 6.4 deleted and loved it.
