Head Studs
After much debate and a lot of reading i decided to purchase the spartan tuner, 5" dp back straight pipe and S&B intake (plastic cover is coming off)
my question is, has anyone had head problems running this combo, and if so is there a head stud kit being offered that i dont know about? |

Re: Head Studs
I may be wrong but it seems the rods and turbo are a lot bigger of a issue.
Sent from my Galaxy S3 using AutoGuide. |

My diesel guy said the head bolts weren't a problem on the 6.7's, they are handling 30+lbs of boost with out any lifting. I would set your defuel somewehre safe tho just for peice of mind.

One time, one company had connecting rods get ripped apart after adding a bunch of HP. I have yet to hear about anyone running stock turbo, and H&S or spartan having engine problems. Yet.... |

I remember reading one thread where a guy running spartan tuning bent rods and wrist pins. That's the only thing that comes to mind though, besides turbos.

If you come across it again, please send me a link. Or post the link in this thread. I have not seen that one.

I am confused. Who are you talking to? And what does this have to do with head studs on a 6.7?
