H&S Mini Maxx 2013

I've been able to track down a Mini Maxx that is still DPF delete capable and have some concerns with 2013 compatibility. Some shops are telling me there is no problem and some are saying I'll be back within two weeks after putting it on with plenty of issues...

I called H&S and the tech indicated that THEY WERE NOT COMPATIBLE w/ the 2013 Ford 6.7 and Dodge's. In speaking with him I did get the slight impression that his response to my question was more of a "Cover your tail - Legal disclosure statement for the record" that they are now prompted to say and understandably. In no way am I talking bad about H&S, it was just the impression I got.

*My question is... has anyone tried it and what kind of experience are you having on the 2013s???

Thanks in advance

I thought that the '13's have a different PCM which means that there are no tuners, including H&S, that are compatible..?

I've got an H&S Mini Maxx 109003 (pre-ban) on my '10 6.4L...so, I may hook it up to my '13 6.7L and see if it even recognizes/communicates with the PCM.

Anybody know about the '13's?

The 109003 is the one I can get... I'm just concerned about putting it on the 2013. Thanks for checking it out!

I believe the race tuners will not work on the 2013+ trucks. Only the new street tuners.

I'm excited to see focus on clean diesel performance. If anybody can put together some good tunes, it will be H&S.

H&S support has posted in the forums that the '13s have a new PCM and the older minimax will absolutely NOT work. No development is being done to make it work either.

Must use the new street tuner on a '13+
No more deletes from H&S.

Thank the EPA.

I do not believe that the new Street Tuners work on the '13's yet either

Does anyone know for sure?

I bought a 2013 F250. Before I did all my homework, I bought a mini maxx race tuner before they were all gone, and a 5 in DP back exhaust. Trial and error here...I plugged in the tuner, no go. I updated the firmware about 3 times, still no go. Emailed tech support, they responded that tunes for '13 Ford, '13 Ram, and '14 Duramax were not released before they ended production of those tuners, and would not be supported. The new street tuner is the only way to go. Now I have a tuner and exhaust I can't use. Expensive mistake.

Yeah expensive mistake. But since they don't make those certain tuners anymore. You'll have no problem selling it. I'm sure someone on the org would even be interested in it!
