Post EPA Ban Modifications
With the EPA Smackdown and you was to buy a New 6.7. What mods would you go with if you couldn't do any of the deletes? I'm talking which tuners, CAI, Exhaust, etc... would you buy. I know some of us are coming late to the game and wish we had gotten to the party sooner.

If I had a '13 6.7L I would just leave it stock. The new Street mods would do nothing for me. The main reason I Deleted my truck was to eliminate Regen's. Performance wasn't and still isnt my main concern.

I'd throw an S&B Intake on there and call it good. The DPF back exhaust systems just add a little tone to it and don't benefit in any other way really. If you're not able to run deleted tuning and don't want to risk the warranty the tuned with DPF on isn't worth it in my opinion to jeopardize the warranty.

I'd buy a new 2012 and one of the last tuners off ebay. They're pricy, but SOOOOOOOOOOO worth it in my opinion!!

Are they starting to lock down the ECU's on the 2013's?

ok what is going on? i read some federal document saying that to qualify for a egr dpf delete you have to have the EPA grant permission saying your truck is incapable of driving safely on the street. ie no headlights, reverse gear etc...
wtf ... is there really no way around this?? i really REALLY miss my 6.0 now |

Is that even with the warranty gone? I am in the process of maybe getting rid of my 6.0 for a 6.7 but if I can never touch the 6.7 then I might be keeping the 6.0 and bulletproofing it..

Why is everyone freaking? In less you have a 13 you can still find an h&s and delete it. They are going fast and increasing in price, but get in where you it in! One more thing f@#$ the epa! I say delete away for better mpg and better engine life. I know for a fact there are going to be more tuners coming out in the.future that will delete. This cant be the end of the road for tuning capabilities. Someone always finds away around stuff. Just a matter of time, just act fast w h&s race tuners. Im glad I got one while I could and not paying the supply and demand prices.
