Hypertech Tuner?

A buddy of mine told me he saw a show this weekend where they tested the Hypertech on the 6.7. I guess it was a quick segment but they were impressed with the power from a mid $300 piece. What caught my attention the most from what my friend thought he heard was that it was "untraceable" from the dealer. I did some searching and didn't come up with a whole lot. Any input or did anyone else see the show? Thanks.

You get what you pay for. I wouldn't trust my truck to have anything but H&S. I have only ever heard of Hyper once...

I dont think there will be any tuner that is untraceable......not anymore at least.

Funny I am just now noticing hypertech advertising their tuners here for best towing programmer.

My buddy saw it too 400 plus rear HP and 880 or ft lbs....they have been around for ever tuning damn near everything under the sun....I myself think that speaks for it self

We all gotta passed h&s this and that, that boat has pretty much sank! I've had h&s before and they are damn good at what they do but that was dpf delete tuning and well can't get that any more

Yep that's right. I'm concerned that dpf tuning will put more stress on the motor than stock. But more importantly, having it void warranty trying to get better mpg... And some hp of course

Hypertech is a good programmer, if you haven't heard of them you've been in a hole...my dad had one on his duramax in 2002, and they were around before that...they are known as one of the safest programmers and seem to be just that from what i have experienced. Truck U was the show that tested it.

��No I've heard of them. It just seems to be its h&s, maybe Spartan, or nothing. And hypertech being a third the price, sounds good to me.
